During the experiments, it was found that the presence of surfactants accelerates the leaching of inhibitory components from the concrete pores when the concrete is fully immersed in an aggressive chloride electrolyte, which significantly reduces the protective effect of the IFKhAN-78 inhibitor compared to IFKhAN-78*. In the present study, similar experiments were conducted using concrete samples in which the rebar had been previously subjected to controlled rusting. Both types of inhibitors were able to passivate the pre-rusted reinforcement, and the passive state was maintained throughout the four-month period of complete immersion of the concrete in 3% sodium chloride solution. It is noteworthy that the corrosion rate of pre-rusted rebar in concrete with the addition of the migrating inhibitor IFKhAN-78 was four times lower than in concrete containing the contact inhibitor IFKhAN-78* (without surfactants). During the experiment, the rate of inhibitor leaching from the concrete pores into the solution in which the sample was completely immersed. In addition, electrochemical impedance spectra were recorded, which allowed for the determination of changes in the resistance and capacitance of the concrete layer, as well as the parameters of the surface passive film on steel and the characteristics of the electrochemical process.
