Gökhan Gece

Gökhan Gece is a Professor of Physical Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry at Bursa Technical University (BTU). He received his B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from Cukurova University (Adana/Türkiye), and his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Ankara University (Türkiye) in 2010. He joined the Chemistry Department at BTU in 2011, where he is currently working as a full professor. Prof. Gece is the author of acclaimed review papers on corrosion inhibitors, and has authored/co-authored many highly cited scientific articles in the field. His research interests include modeling of the actions of corrosion inhibitors on metals at the molecular level, and applications of quantum mechanical methods in corrosion science.
