L.E. Tsygankova graduated from Voronezh State University in 1961, defended a Ph.D. thesis in 1966 and a doctoral thesis in 1990. She has been working at Derzhavin State University from 1967 till the present time. She obtained the Professor title in 1992. She has published 410 scientific works, including 10 monographs. She is an author of 12 inventions. She is an Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. She is also a member of Editorial Boards of the journals “Vestnik Udmurtskogo gosuniversiteta. Seriya: khimiya” (Newsletter of Udmurt University. Series: Chemistry), “Vestnik Tambovskogo universiteta. Seriya: estestvennye i tekhnicheskie nauki” (Newsletter of Tambov University. Series: Natural and Technical Sciences), and “Aktual’nye innovatsionnye issledovaniya: nauka i praktika” (Current innovation studies: Science and Practice).

 

L.E. Tsygankova is an expert in hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide corrosion of metals, metal corrosion inhibitors, and oil-based protective coatings.
