J. Telegdi graduated from the Eötvös Loránd University. She defended a Ph.D. thesis in 1992 and a doctoral thesis in 2009. 2012: Professor Emeritus of the Hungarian Academy of sciences. 2012: Full Professor of Materials Science. She has published 170 scientific works and is an author of 12 inventions. She is an Editorial Board member of the journals “Materials and Corrosion” (Germany) and “Corrosion Protection” (Poland).

 

J. Telegdi is an expert in microbiologically influenced corrosion, use of Langmuir-Blodgett films and self assembled molecular layers as inhibitors against corrosion and microbial adhesion, nanocoatings with self healing and slow release microcapsules, and scanning probe microscopy.
