Mahendra Yadav

Dr. Mahendra Yadav was awarded Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) in 1999 and is currently working as Professor at the Department Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, India. He is actively engaged in research since 1999. So far, he has completed 7 projects (as PI), guided 22 Ph.D. and 50 M.Sc. projects in the area of corrosion science. He has published around 100 research publications in the area of corrosion and corrosion protection having more than 4000 citations with h-index 37. His research team is focused on design and development of efficient corrosion inhibitors for different metals in different corrosive environments. His research team substantially contributed to the development of corrosion inhibitors for industrial applications. He has reviewed hundreds of papers in his area of research submitted to different reputed journals. His areas of scientific interest include electrochemistry, metal corrosion, and corrosion inhibitors.
