Andrey I. Marshakov

A.I. Marshakov graduated from the Chemistry Department of Voronezh State University, defended a Ph.D. thesis in 1983 and a doctoral thesis in 2000. He has been working at A.N. Frumkin Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry since 1981. He has been a Head of Laboratory since 1990 till the present time. He obtained the Professor title in 2011. He has published 250 scientific works and is an author of 9 inventions. He is a member of Editorial Boards of the journals “Protection of Metals and Physical Chemistry of Surfaces”, “Korroziya: materialy i zashchita” (“Corrosion: metals and protection”, in Russian) and  “Kondensirovannye sredy i mezhfaznye granitsy” (“Condensed Matter and Interphases”, in Russian).

A.I. Marshakov is an expert in atmospheric and underground corrosion.
