Abstract: In this research work, the preparation of multifunctional compositions based on green inhibitors for multicomponent aggressive corrosion environments (H2S, CO2, their combined effect and sulfate-reducing bacteria) widespread in the oil and gas industry and a comprehensive experimental evaluation of their corrosion protection properties were carried out. Within the framework of the research, an inhibitor system based on plant-derived Gossypol resin and a newly synthesized organic compound with the conditional name “Marza-3” was studied. The corrosion rate was determined by the gravimetric method in a model produced water environment saturated with H2S and CO2, as well as in the coexistence of these gases. In addition, the effect of the prepared compositions on the activity of sulfate-reducing bacteria (Desulfovibrio desulfuricans and Desulfomicrobium) and the formation of biogenic hydrogen sulfide was also investigated. The results obtained showed that the compositions obtained by combining the components in an equimolar ratio (1:1) showed a high protective effect, reducing the corrosion rate by 96–99%, and at the same time weakening the activity of SRB bacteria by 94–98%. A strong statistical relationship (R2=0.947) was established between corrosion inhibition and the reduction of biogenic H2S. The results prove that the proposed inhibitor systems simultaneously affect the electrochemical and microbiological corrosion mechanisms, reducing their intensity, and in this regard can be considered promising for application in the oil and gas industry.
