Inhibition of hydrogen sulfide corrosion of steel by volatile amines

It is shown that primary amines are less effective than secondary and tertiary ones in terms of steel protection, especially in vapor phase. The authors also studied the impact of CH2S, pH, temperature and presence of a hydrocarbon phase on protective effect of chemical compounds considered.
